Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

On July 19, 2020, an employee who had worked as a Nurse Supervisor for a skilled nursing facility died from COVID-19. The employee's last work day was July 8, 2020. On July 9, 2020, the employee called in sick. On July 10, 2020, the employer tested the entire staff in the facility for COVID-19. A coworker (Supervisor) called the employee and requested she return to work to be tested for COVID-19. On July 12, 2020, the employee reported to work and was tested for COVID-19 in the parking lot in her car. On July 19, 2020, the employer recieved the employee's positive test results. The employer called to notify the employee of the results, but the employee's daughter answered and said she had found her mother dead at home. The employee may have had a fever, but did not go to the emergency room. The date, time and other details leading up to exposure are not indicated in the narrative.
