Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized

At approximately 11:00 a.m. on July 3, 2020, it was reported that an employee who is an an Inside Sales Representative/employee left work early to take care of a family member, which was not related to COVID-19. On June 25, 2020 the employee was still outside of work and began to experience a fever and cold chills. On June 26, 2020, the employee was tested for COVID-19 and received a positive test result on June 29, 2020. The employee continued to stay home and isolate. On July 3, 2020, the employee went to the hospital due to symptoms worsening and found out that he was dehydrated with abnormally high blood glucose levels and abnormally low blood oxygen level. The employee was discharged from the hospital on July 7, 2020 and isolated at home until August 3, 2020 when he returned to work.
