Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized

An employee, a registered nurse, was working in a nursing home and was the first employee who became ill with COVID-19. To the best of the employer's knowledge, at the time of illness there were no positive residents. Employees had training on COVID-19 and provided PPE included face shields, N-95 respirators, gowns and gloves. At 8:00 a.m. on June 28, 2020, the employee was hospitalized for three days to treat COVID-19.
