Employee Is Crushed And Killed When Struck By Forklift

At 9:00 a.m. on July 15, 2020, an employee was preparing to move a forklift from one set of drying barns to another across the property. The employee drove the forklift down a concrete ramp onto a dirt and gravel pathway and attempted to tu rn. As the employee turned, the forklift tilted and tipped overthrowing the empl oyee out and landing on the employee. The employee sustained crushing injuries when struck by the forklift and was killed.
