Employee With Covid-19 Infection Is Hospitalized

An employee was working as a packer for an ice cream manufacturer. The packing s taff were not physically separated and there were no plexiglass barriers between staff members. There were also in-person morning meetings up where staff were n ot physically separated. There was a COVID-19 outbreak at the facility with 25 e mployees testing positive. The city department of public health closed the plant down for 24 hours. The employee was hospitalized with COVID-19 for 6 days but s uccessfully recovered from her infection.
