Investigation Summary
An employee was working at a nursing care or skilled nursing facility. On May 25, 2020, she was at home, when she started showing symptoms of a COVID-19 infection. She was tested and confirmed to have a COVID-19 infection. She did not return to work. At 5:30 a.m. on June 18, 2020, she died from complications of COVID-19. In the report, this death was described as a non-work-related fatality, but on the victim information page, it was said that this was an OSHA-covered fatality.
