An employee was working as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) at a health maintenance organization (HMO) medical center. She directed patients to the correct department and saw to it that hand sanitizer was used. At 4:05 p.m. on June 25, 2020, she died from COVID-19. It was possible that she had contracted COVID-19 at work and that her death was work-related.
