An employee was working at an assisted living facility for the elderly. She was working as a caregiver at a nursing home. Her last day of work was April 12, 2020. On April 13, 2020, she indicated that she was not feeling well and called in sick. On April 14, 2020, she learned she was positive with COVID-19, and she let the employer know. She was hospitalized on April 19, 2020. On April 30, 2020, her brother called her employer to let it know that she had died on April 28, 2020, due to COVID-19.
