Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working for a poultry processor. Her last day at work was Friday, June 19, 2020. At that time, she was exhibiting no symptoms of COVID-19. Over the weekend, she started feeling sick. She was taken to a clinic on Monday, June 22, 2020. On June 23, 2020, she took a scheduled COVID-19 test. Her condition became worse that night. Her husband took her to the emergency room. She was sent home to wait for test results. On June 24, 2020, she woke up and felt worse. Her husband called emergency medical services. Later that day, at 1:30 p.m. on June 24, 2020, she died due to an infection of COVID-19.
