Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At 3:53 a.m. on June 18, 2020, an employee who worked as a debone laborer on a processing line at a poultry plant died from COVID-19. On June 13, 2020, the employee had worked his last day. On that same date, the employee was tested for COVID-19 as part of a site wide test event and received negative test results. The employee called in the following week on June 15, 16, and 17, 2020, reporting stomach problems. On June 17, 2020, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the employee went to the hospital where he was admitted. The date, time and other details leading up to exposure are not indicated in the narrative.
