Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At approximately 12:00 a.m. on June 12, 2020, an employee who is a CIT Transportation Supervisor, was sitting in his bed at his home. He was recovering from a diagnosis of pneumonia. The employee collapsed and began experiencing convulsions. The spouse of the employee contacted emergency services, but the emergency services were unable to revive him. The county coroner later confirmed that the employee contracted the COVID-19 and died from it complications.
