Investigation Summary
An employee was working at an assisted living facility for the elderly. She contracted COVID-19. She was hospitalized. After two weeks in the hospital, she suffered a heart attack as a complication of her COVID-19 infection. At 2:00 p.m. on June 4, 2020, she died. This was an OSHA-covered fatality.
