Employee dies of heart attack

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on June 1, 2020, employees were performing landscape maintenance for a homeowners association in a residential development. Employee # 1 failed to meet up for a break. Other employees onsite went to look for him and discovered him unresponsive. Medics were called. He died of natural causes. Personal health factors resulted in Employee # 1's death. The employer reported the incident to the division on June 1, 2020 at 12:33 p.m. and was in compliance with reporting requirements.
