Event: 06/03/2020
One employee with COVID-19 infection dies; three coworkers

At approximately 12:00 p.m. on June 3, 2020, Employee #1 died from COVID-19. The employee worked at a correctional and rehabilitation facility as a groundmen, doing various duties including caring for the lawn, trees, and other ground covers. He also did planting, cultivating, other ground work at the site. The employee's three coworkers were correctional officers, who were engaged in maintaining security, order, supervise activities at the institution and other activities at the site. Employee #1 died from complications due to COVID-19 on June 3, 2020 after testing postive on May 29, 2020. Three coworkers were hospitalized for symptoms of COVID-19. Coworker #1 was hospitalized on June 15, 2020, Coworker #2 was hospitalized on June 16, 2020 and Coworker #3 was hospitalized on July 16, 2020.
