Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:30 p.m. on April 19, 2020, an employee who had been working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Immediate Intensive Care Unit was hospitalized. The employee worked on the same floor as a coworker, who was also hospitalized for COVID-19. The employee did not interact with patients or staff. The employee was diagnosed with COVID-19, pneumonia, and a history of asthma. Due to inconsistencies in reports, it is not possible to determine how exposure may have occurred.
