Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee worked as a meat cutter in the meat department of a grocery store. The employee had worked during the two weeks prior to the onset of the symptoms on March 21, 2020. The employee was tested for COVID-19 on March 24 and received the positive results on March 27. The employee was admitted to the hospital on March 20, was released to a nursing home facility on May 8, and then readmitted to the same hospital on May 19. The employee died at the hospital at 1:24 a.m. on May 24, 2020, due to complications related to COVID-19.
