At approximately 12:00 p.m. on May 19, 2020, an employee was performing COVID-19 pre-screening for other EMTs prior to work. The employee also completed the pre-screening before the start of the shift. The employee was potentially exposed to another EMTs who later tested positive for COVID-19 infection. The employee later died from complications from COVID-19.
