Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working as a licensed nurse practitioner at a senior living community. She was exhibiting symptoms such as a light cough, followed by shortness of breath and low blood pressure. On April 14, 2020, she was hospitalized. While in the hospital, she developed pneumonia. On April 17, she was placed on a ventilator. On April 29, 2020, she died, due to complications from COVID-19. This was an OSHA-covered fatality.
