Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working for a firm that constructed commercial and institutional buildings. He worked until April 11, 2020. On April 13, 2020, he called in sick and sought medical treatment. The employee tested positive for COVID-19 on April 14, 2020. He was hospitalized on April 16, 2020. At 1:00 p.m. on May 12, 2020, the employee died as a result of complications from COVID-19. This was an OSHA-covered fatality.
