Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at an assisted living facility for the elderly. She was working on a general care floor. On April 16, 2020, she felt ill and began to experience symptoms of an infection with COVID-19. On April 22, 2020, she was hospitalized. On April 29, 2020, she died. The causes of her death were bronchial pneumonia, viral COVID-19, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) COVID-19. This was an OSHA-covered fatality.
