Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

An employee was working as a patient care associate at a general medical and surgical hospital. He worked in the hospital's medical surgical unit. On April 1, 2020, he became ill and called out of work. On April 7, 2020, the employer was notified of the employee's hospitalization. On Sunday, April 19, 2020, the employee died of a work-related infection with COVID-19. He had been exposed to coronavirus within the workplace. The narrative also says that this was a possible work-related COVID-19 fatality. This was an OSHA-covered fatality.
