Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:00 p.m. on April 30, 2020, an employee was an ambulance driver working out of a New York City location at the Bronx Zoo. He began working in New York City on April 1, 2020. On April 18 or 19, 2020, the employee began to experience symptoms of COVID-19. He was hospitalized and was placed on a ventilator on April 21, 2020. He later died from complications of COVID-19.
