Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

At 12:00 a.m. on April 13, 2020, an employee who was a Certified Nurse Assistant worked in the facility caring for residents. The employee worked mainly on the 000 and 100 halls. The employee utilized a Dina map, med carts, Hoyer lifts, treatment supplies/carts, and PPE. There were residents that exhibited symptoms of COVID-19, and they were quarantined from the other residents. The employer did not have specific knowledge of the date, time, or location of the alleged work-related exposure. The employee died from COVID-19 exposure.
