Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:00 p.m. on April 14, 2020, an employee was working performing COVID-19 screening of other EMTs before their work shift. The employee answered those questions himself before starting the shift. The employee was exposed to other EMTs who later tested positive for COVID-19 infection. The employee later died from hypoxemia brought on by the COVID-19 virus.
