Investigation Summary
At 9:10 a.m. on March 24, 2020, Employee #1 was working in a road work zone unde r an interstate overpass as part of a multiemployer construction project. He wa s compacting a utility bore hole that had been dug to locate buried utilities. A motorist lost control of a vehicle, came down an embankment, and struck the em ployee. Employee #1 was killed.
