At 10:45 p.m. on March 13, 2020, Employee # 1 was fighting a heavy fire. Interior firefighting tactics and water nozzle use caused the floor to collapse underneath Employee # 1. He was pinned up to his arm pits between the floor joists. He suffered positional asphyxiation and was killed.
