Investigation Summary
At 6:24 p.m. on February 18, 2020, an employee was assisting with MJ Saw operations. The employee was asked to reposition the laminate being cut. While the employee's hand was in the danger zone, the saw was engaged by the saw operator and the hold down bar came down on the employee's hand. The employee amputated the right index fingertip and was hospitalized.
