Employee's fingers are amputated in press brake

At 2:14 p.m. on February 4, 2020, an employee was operating the Jorns AG trim bending machine to bend pieces of metal. The employee's fingers were on top of a metal piece when he pressed down on the foot pedal and the machine crushed his left index and middle fingers and his right index finger. The employee was hospitalized, and his fingers required surgical amputation.
