Investigation Summary
At 2:00 a.m. on November 24, 2019, Employee #1 was filling a red can/container on wheels with scalding hot water for cleaning behind kitchen equipment. Due to the hot water, the can/container buckled and fell over, causing the water to splash onto the floor and lower extremities of Employee #1. Employee #1 sustained third degree burns on both feet and ankles, and was hospitalized.
