Employee amputates fingertip in cookie cutter

At 9:30 p.m. on October 18, 2019, an employee was clearing a jam at cookie chute #3 on oven #1 when he used his right hand to sweep the cookies away from upper portion of the chute. When the employee cleared the jam, the cookie cutter activated. The employee suffered a right middle fingertip amputation and was treated without hospitalization.
