Investigation Summary
At 5:45 p.m. on September 4, 2019, an employee was picking up a bin of pistachios using a bin carrier. The employee backed up quickly and struck his back against a branch from the pistachio tree. The employee was caught between branch and the machinery's steering wheel, sustained blunt force impact injuries to his thoraco spine, killing him.
