Employee partially amputates finger while using band saw

At approximately 2:15 p.m. on February 25, 2019, an employee was operating a horizontal band saw. While making adjustments, the employee's finger came into contact with the moving saw blade. The left index fingertip was amputated. The employee was taken to the hospital for these injuries and was hospitalized.
