Investigation Summary
At 11:47 a.m. on June 19, 2019, an employee and coworker were in the kitchen, preparing food for lunchtime rush orders and opening the restaurant for business. When the coworker noticed that the Frymaster Model Sr14ESD deep fryer wasn't heating up the grease. The employee crawled under the deep fryer in order to reach the reset button and, when attempting to reset the internal breaker, received an electric shock and was electrocuted.
