Employee amputates finger when struck against, caught in mac

On May 29, 2019, an employee was in the process of cleaning a Blentech Versa-Therm Model TP-18044-V machine when he was about to slip and fall. As a result, the employee struck his hand against the machine while it was operating. The employee amputated his right ring finger and fractured his index and middle fingers, requiring hospitalization.
