Employee drowns while rafting

At 3:30 p.m. on May 21, 2019, employees were floating down a river in a raft for a training exercise. The raft became stuck on debris in the water so the employee attempted to put the paddle in the water to dislodge it. The employee was killed when the current pulled the employee into the water and the employee drowned.
