Employee falls backwards and fractures left femur

At 12:15 p.m. on April 19, 2019, an employee was using a bar to lift up the dock plate. Due to the force and momentum, the bar slipped off the dock plate prong, causing employee to fall backwards onto the floor. The employee was hospitalized as a result of a fracture and dislocation of the left femur.
