Employee fractures shoulder in fall from scooter

At 4:50 p.m. on April 22, 2019, an employee had finished her shift directing activity programs for an assisted living facility and was headed to her car. As the employee began to ride her scooter from her work location to the parking lot her hair flew in her face. When the employee went to brush her hair out of her face, she began to lose control of the scooter. The employee overcorrected and fell to the ground fracturing her shoulder and requiring hospitalization.
