Investigation Summary
At 3:00 p.m. on April 17, 2019, an employee was trying to remove a pig or sizing plate with a probing rod that had a hook on it when it became stuck between the pipeline and receiver or trap. The employee was struck in the torso when the pig became dislodged and sustained blunt force trauma, killing him.
