Employee Incurs Laceration And Avulsion When Struck On Right

At 11:30 p.m. on April 11, 2019, Employee # 1 was lifting a roll of core steel f rom a core steel stand so that it could be moved to the decoiler. The roll of co re steel fell off the crane hook apparatus (C shaped). It hit the floor, bounced , and struck Employee # 1's right foot. He suffered a right foot laceration and avulsion and was hospitalized for more than two days.
