Employee is caught between drain box and backhoe bucket, rec

At 9:30 a.m. on March 26, 2019, an employee installed fiber material on and around piping connected to a drain box while a coworker operated a backhoe. The coworker used the backhoe to backfill the excavation with soil. At some point, the coworker lost sight of the employee while moving the bucket and caught the employee between the bucket and the drain box. The employee was hospitalized to treat rib fractures.
