Investigation Summary
On March 14, 2019, an employee was tightening the elbow joints inside some switch gear stations as part of an electrical construction crew which were directed to the wrong location. The employee began to tighten the elbows when he made contact with energized components with his tightening tool, electrocuting himself. Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and was able to revive the employee by using the defibrillator. The employee was transported to the hospital, where he was admitted for treatment.
