Investigation Summary
At 11:00 a.m. on March 1, 2019, two employees entered a building that was on fire and were searching for occupants. The fire continued to spread throughout the building, forcing the employees to take cover. According to the medical examiner, Employee #1 died due to hyperthermia and hypoxia. Employee #2 was taken to the hospital where he was treated for minor burns. Two additional employees, Employee #3 and #4 were hospitalized due to cardiac issues while recovering Employee #1's body.
