Investigation Summary
At 12:30 p.m. on February 18, 2019, an employee was walking backwards toward the edge of a roof while holding a chalk line and tripped over an 18 inch parapet wall. The employee fell from the roof and fractured his right ankle as well as straining his right knee. when he landed 13 feet below. The employee also struck his head which caused his brain to swell. The employee was hospitalized.
