Investigation Summary
At 10:45 a.m. on February 21, 2019, an employee was repairing lacing on a conveyor. The employee inadvertently grabbed the drive belt instead of the emergency stop cord causing his left hand to become entangled in the conveyor. As a result, he sustained a partial amputation of three fingertips on that hand. The employee was hospitalized.
