Employee is killed when caught between truck and trailer

On February 5, 2019, an employee was working to connect his truck to a trailer. Without setting the parking break, the employee left his truck to move a jack stand in preparation for connecting the trailer. As he was located between the truck and the trailer, his truck rolled backwards, pinning the employee against the trailer. The employee was discovered dead, approximately two hours later by a coworker.
