At 2:50 p.m. on September 17, 2018, an employee was changing a faulty suspension bag that was on the rear axle of a Ryder trailer. The employee used the shop's air supply line to inflate the other suspension bags located at the rear of the trailer when one of the bags slid out. The employee was struck by the bag when it flew out from the trailer and lacerated his lower left leg. The employee was hospitalized.
