Employee falls from temporary stage and fractures ankle

At 10:45 a.m. on October 15, 2018, an employee was a moderator for one of the conference sessions and was introducing a guest speaker from a raised temporary stage. The employee took a step backwards from the stage and fell approximately 2 feet, sustaining a compound fracture to his right ankle. The employee was hospitalized.
