Employee Falls From Forklift While In Safety Cage And Sustai

At 2:05 p.m. on October 15, 2018, an employee was riding in a safety cage that w as lifted by a forklift to assist with moving a tarp to cover a pile of merchand ise. The safety cage was not secured to the forklift and, when it was lifted, i t slid off of the forks. Emergency Services responded and the employee sustaine d a compound fracture to his left arm just able the elbow and multiple fractures to his left shoulder. The employee was hospitalized.
