Investigation Summary
At 11:20 a.m. on September 27, 2018, an employee was adjusting a conveyor belt on the trash conveyer system for a walnut huller. The employee noticed several metal pieces floating on the back of the conveyor system and pointed with his right arm and had it sucked into a pinch point of the belt and roller unit. The employee sustained compound fractures and burns to his right arm. The employee was hospitalized.
