Employee's right pinky finger is pinched in load block

At 9:30 a.m. on September 20, 2018, an employee was operating an overhead monorail crane to hoist racks of insulation blankets. At some point, the employee had his right hand wrapped around the load line while using the pendant controls with his left hand to raise the load. The employee's fingers were caught in the load block sheave with the right pinky finger sustaining an unspecified injury. The employee was hospitalized for surgery to the right pinky finger to pin and stitch the digit.
